Goal: Get into the 160s as soon as possible! (I’m now setting an outside “deadline” on this at 1 month from now. I will BE there by August 20th!!!! It is so close I can taste it)
1st mini-goal - Get my first HYC badge (5 pounds) Achieved 25 May 2008
2nd mini-goal - Reach 175 lbs again! Achieved 19 July 2008
This is going to see me finally under the 170 lbs mark, for the first time in over seven years! I know that at 175 I am starting to feel a lot better. To finally be able to break below that is going to be incredible. It will help my knees, make it easier to work on my running and cardio fitness in general and I will probably feel just a bit less frumpy. I will also be able to totally git rid of a bunch of fat clothes that will by then be so big on me they won’t be worth keeping. The closets are overflowing with a range of wardrobes to suit all my various sized I would like to finally purge some. I have gone for a pretty hefty goal but I think it is achievable since the first bit will probably come off a little quicker and the first 5 pounds are probably bloating from junk food. I plan to do it with a combo of eating really clean all week with the exception of a single weekly cheat meal plus a lot of walking. I will also be completing the first part of the C25K training program during this time (note: I completed this in June!). This goal is proving to take a lot more work than I originally thought but oh what a trip it is proving to be. I’m learning so much and kind of enjoying the process.
